Scotia GBS in Bogotá, Colombia, seeks a senior leader to head Talent Acquisition across Technology, Operations, Customer Experience and Corporate Functions, aligning local priorities with global Talent Acquisition strategy.

You will partner with business leaders and HR, build strategic pipelines, drive workforce planning, and lead a high-performing team, delivering superior candidate experiences and shaping the talent agenda for the region.

Purpose

Lead the Talent Acquisition function for Scotiabank Global Business Services (GBS) Colombia, supporting the attraction, assessment and hiring of diverse, high-quality talent across Technology, Operations, Customer Experience, Corporate Functions and other critical capabilities that enable Scotiabank's global business strategy.
The role is responsible for defining and executing the Talent Acquisition strategy for GBS Colombia, aligned with Global Talent Acquisition priorities and the specific needs of Global Business Services, leveraging market intelligence, analytics, workforce planning, and close collaboration with business leaders and Human Resources teams to influence key decisions related to hiring, succession planning, internal mobility, and critical capability development.

The role will be based in Bogotá, Colombia, one of Scotiabank's Global Business Services hubs, and will work in close partnership with GBS Dominican Republic, Regional Talent Acquisition and Global Talent Acquisition teams to drive alignment, share best practices and support broader talent priorities across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an up-to-date understanding of talent markets across different segments, competitive landscapes, availability of critical capabilities, workforce dynamics, and labour regulations that influence attraction and recruitment strategies to proactively anticipate future hiring demand, talent risks and business growth requirements.
• Act as a strategic partner to business leaders, HR Business Partners and Human Resources teams, influencing decisions related to workforce planning, hiring, succession and internal mobility while developing a deep understanding of business priorities, growth plans and future talent needs.
• Design and execute differentiated talent attraction strategies for critical talent segments, including leadership roles, technology, customer experience, operations, analytics, finance, risk, HR, digital talent, as well as emerging capabilities ensuring effective support for both ongoing business demand and strategic growth initiatives.
• Build and maintain strategic talent pipelines for high-demand and critical skill segments, ensuring readiness to support evolving business priorities, workforce expansion initiatives and evolving talent requirements.
• Drive the standardization, scalability and continuous improvement of Talent Acquisition processes, methodologies, tools, and practices, promoting an exceptional experience for candidates, leaders, and stakeholders while ensuring the effective management of the function's resources, investments and service delivery.
• Lead leadership hiring, advising senior leaders on internal talent identification, succession alignment, and external talent mapping, ensuring a high-quality candidate and stakeholder experience together with excellence in execution.
• Generate and leverage Talent Acquisition analytics, performance metrics and market intelligence to identify trends, generate insights and strengthen decision‑making, while ensuring operational efficiency, service level agreements and continuous improvement across recruitment processes.
• Continue building and developing a diverse, high‑performing and collaborative team by strengthening capabilities in business partnering, strategic sourcing, data and insights, change management and stakeholder engagement, while fostering a culture of accountability, inclusion and talent development.

Education / Experience / Other Information

• Experience leading Talent Acquisition functions and teams within complex environments, including Global Business Services, Shared Services, Technology, Operations, Customer Experience, or other large‑scale business functions.
• Experience building and managing talent pipelines for high‑demand and specialized capabilities within competitive talent markets.
• Experience leading transformation initiatives, continuous improvement efforts, and the implementation of innovative Talent Acquisition practices and operating models.
• Experience designing and executing talent acquisition strategies aligned with business priorities, including critical talent segments, workforce growth initiatives, and long‑term talent pipeline development.
• Proven track record leading leadership hiring processes and serving as a trusted talent advisor to senior executives and stakeholders.
• Experience leveraging metrics, analytics, talent intelligence, and market insights to inform talent strategies, influence hiring decisions, and improve business outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of Talent Acquisition, Talent Mapping, Recruitment Strategies, Workforce Planning, Internal Mobility, and labor market trends.
• Advanced English proficiency (required) and experience working in regional or global environments (preferred).
