BairesDev is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design and ship pipelines that connect to LLM providers, lead AI-driven initiatives, and own the codebase across Java and Python stacks.

You'll build agentic systems, harness tool use and function calling, and collaborate with global teams in a fully remote environment, aiming to push product capabilities forward and maintain high coding standards.

Formación

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong Java proficiency and hands-on Python.
• Expertise in agentic system design and tool use.
• Experience with RESTful API development and integrations.
• Familiarity with MCP or AI agent orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Vertex AI, or Bedrock.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

In this role, you'll design and ship pipelines connecting to LLM providers and platforms, leading internal AI-driven initiatives that push the product forward. Using AI coding agents to accelerate delivery, you'll maintain full accountability for the codebase while building agentic systems that reason, plan, and act. What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Hands-on experience with Python.
• Deep expertise in agentic system design, including tool use, agent loops, function calling, structured outputs, and reasoning models.
• Experience with RESTful API development and integrations.
• Comfort with AI-assisted coding as part of the daily workflow.
• Experience with MCP or AI agent orchestration frameworks.
• Background working with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Vertex AI, or Bedrock; Anthropic experience preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Nice To Have

• Comprehensive testing experience.
• Background with SnapLogic or similar iPaaS/enterprise integration platforms.
• Experience with Maven build systems and CI/CD.
• Experience with vector store integrations.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across backend, platform, and UI teams.
