Avenga is seeking an experienced AI engineer to design and develop agents, prompts, and workflows that empower data-driven decision-making. You will collaborate with data scientists and analysts to convert domain knowledge into reusable AI contexts and agents.

You will refine Python and SQL resources for AI consumption, leverage Snowflake structures, and evaluate agent outputs for bias and relevance within a hybrid work model.

Formación

• Hands-on experience with AI coding environments (Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot, AWS Kiro, Cody).
• Strong prompt and context engineering skills.
• Experience building AI workflows, MCP servers, and agents.
• Understanding of LLM behavior, evaluation methods.
• Strong software engineering discipline: clean code, Git, CI/CD.
• Testing and quality engineering mindset.
• Practical Python and SQL skills to work with data scientists’ assets.
• Familiarity with data warehouses, semantic layers, and BI platforms.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently.

This is you

• Solid hands-on experience with at least one modern AI coding environment or harness, such as Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot, AWS Kiro, or Cody
• Solid prompt engineering and context engineering skills
• Experience building AI workflows, skills, MCP servers, and agents
• Understanding of LLM behavior, limitations, and evaluation methods
• Strong software engineering discipline: analytical thinking, understanding and refactoring code, clean code practices, Git, and CI/CD
• A testing and quality engineering mindset
• Practical Python and SQL skills, sufficient to work with the assets of data scientists and analysts
• Familiarity with data warehouses, semantic layers, semantic modelling, and BI platforms
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and proactively
• Professional working proficiency in English (advanced level)

Nice-to-have skills:

• Hands-on experience with AWS Kiro and Amazon Quick specifically, and experience working across multiple AI coding harnesses
• Experience evaluating non-deterministic AI outputs
• Some experience with Snowflake
• Understanding of common data science workflows, including data exploration, preparation, modelling, and validation
• Some experience with Tableau and Power BI

This is your role

• Design and develop AI agents, prompts, skills, and agentic workflows
• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Data Analysts, and the Product Owner to capture technical and business knowledge and convert it into reusable AI context, skills, and agents
• Review, refactor, and extend Python and SQL resources for AI consumption
• Work with Snowflake data structures, semantic views, and semantic models to support data-driven agentic workflows
• Assess agent recommendations for correctness, reliability, bias, and business relevance, and automate this assessment through an evaluation framework
