A leading tech company in Colombia is seeking a Lead AI Consultant with over 5 years of AI/ML experience to collaborate with clients on AI solutions. You will design proof-of-concepts, partner with sales teams, and contribute to the AI roadmap. The ideal candidate has consulting experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Generative AI tools. This role offers competitive compensation and flexible work arrangements.

Formación

• 5+ years of AI/ML experience with predictive and generative AI solutions.
• Demonstrated client-facing consulting experience.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI tools and models.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI tools and models (OpenAI GPT, Claude, LLMs).
• Experience building predictive modeling pipelines (scikit-learn, XGBoost, Prophet).
• Strong communication; able to present to executives and explain data stories.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and MLOps is a plus.
• Self-starter with ability to kickstart projects and move fast.
• Upper-Intermediate English level.

What You Will Do

• Partner with sales and business teams to identify client needs and participate in sales calls to shape compelling AI offerings;
• Collaborate with clients to define AI roadmaps, prioritize use cases, and translate business needs into actionable AI solutions;
• Design and lead proof‑of‑concepts (PoCs) using Generative AI (e.g., LLMs, RAG pipelines, agents) and Predictive AI (e.g., forecasting, classification, clustering);
• Act as a trusted strategic advisor, helping clients understand where AI fits in their product or data journey;
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from early consulting phases to implementation;
• Contribute to proposals, workshops, and documentation for AI adoption initiatives;
• Optionally: Evangelize our capabilities by writing, speaking, or mentoring internally.

Must Haves

• 5+ years of AI/ML experience, with proven delivery of both predictive and generative AI solutions in business settings;
• Demonstrated consulting experience (e.g., client‑facing, pre‑sales support, fractional CTO work, or agency consulting);
• Hands‑on experience with Generative AI tools and models (e.g., OpenAI GPT, Claude, open‑source LLMs, vector databases, LangChain/RAG architectures);
• Experience building or advising on predictive modeling pipelines, using tools like scikit‑learn, XGBoost, Prophet, etc.;
• Strong communication skills: able to present to executives and business users, explain technical concepts, and tell compelling data stories;
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and MLOps best practices is a plus;
• Self‑starter mentality with the ability to kickstart projects, shape ambiguous goals, and move fast with confidence;
• Upper‑Intermediate English level.

Nice to Haves

• Prior experience in fractional CTO roles or acting as a strategic technical advisor;
• Background in startup consulting, product ideation, or venture‑backed AI/ML companies;
• Experience with multi‑modal AI (e.g., text, image, audio) or agent‑based systems;
• Public speaking, writing, or AI evangelism contributions.
