Job summary

adidas Colombia, within Global Business Services, seeks an Accounts Payable Senior Specialist to ensure accuracy and compliance of vendor transactions across the Source to Pay process. The role focuses on vendor reconciliations, query resolution, and validation of postings in line with accounting principles across the Americas.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to apply analytical and problem-solving methodologies to complex financial cases.
• University degree in Accounting, Commerce/Business Administration/Finance.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese proficiency is a plus.
• 4+ years’ relevant work experience in the AP area.
• Strong financial acumen with AP and T&E exposure; knowledge of accounting principles in the Americas.

Responsibilities

• Act as escalation point for vendor queries with internal and external partners.
• Validate and oversee invoice postings ensuring compliance with standards and controls.
• Monitor high-risk supplier accounts and implement corrective actions.
• Support month-end closing and audit-ready documentation.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure workload distribution and cross-functional alignment.
