Sezzle seeks a motivated Security Infrastructure Engineer Intern to gain hands-on experience securing cloud infrastructure, applications, and developer workflows. You will work on security problems across AWS and Kubernetes, with exposure to vulnerability management, detection systems, and infrastructure security controls.

This role blends practical investigative work with learning about how security systems are designed and improved over time, including building foundational security

Formación

• Pursuing or completed degree in Cybersecurity or related field.
• Basic understanding of computer systems, networking, and security fundamentals.
• Exposure to programming or scripting (Python, Go, or Bash).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS) and infrastructure systems.
• Basic knowledge of common security concepts (e.g., vulnerabilities, authentication, OWASP Top 10).
• Demonstrated experience with Claude or comparable LLM tools.
• Familiarity with containers (Docker) and Kubernetes concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with vulnerability management activities and validate findings.
• Triage security findings from internal tools and external sources.
• Analyze logs and alerts from SIEM systems to identify issues.
• Participate in basic security incident investigations and documentation.
• Help implement and improve security controls across AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Support efforts to improve detection capabilities and monitoring coverage.
• Learn and contribute to securing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to address security issues.
