BairesDev is seeking a Security Engineer (DevSecOps) to weave security into the software development lifecycle. You will bridge development, operations, and security to ensure built-in protection.

This 100% remote role offers USD or local currency compensation and flexible hours, with opportunities for growth in a global, Multicultural environment and exposure to cloud-native security, policy as code, and secure CI/CD workflows.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in Security Engineering, DevSecOps, or DevOps.
• Proven expertise embedding security into CI/CD pipelines and automated workflows.
• Proficiency with security tooling such as Snyk, Trivy, or Aqua.
• Hands-on experience with Policy as Code using Open Policy Agent (OPA).
• Strong background in secrets management and securing containerized infrastructure.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

As a Security Engineer (DevSecOps), you will be the driving force behind integrating security directly into the software development lifecycle. You will act as the vital link between development, operations, and security teams, ensuring that protection is built-in rather than bolted on.

What You'll Do

• Integrate automated security scanning and testing tools directly into CI/CD pipelines to catch vulnerabilities early.
• Define and implement Policy as Code to maintain consistent security standards across all infrastructure and deployments.

• Harden containerized workloads and orchestration platforms to protect against modern cloud-native threats.
• Foster a culture of security awareness by collaborating with engineering teams to adopt best practices and secure coding standards.
• Conduct continuous monitoring and auditing of infrastructure to ensure ongoing compliance and rapid threat detection.

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in Security Engineering, DevSecOps, or DevOps.
