BairesDev is seeking a Security Engineer (DevSecOps) to weave security into the software development lifecycle. You will bridge development, operations, and security to ensure built-in protection.

This 100% remote role offers USD or local currency compensation and flexible hours, with opportunities for growth in a global, Multicultural environment and exposure to cloud-native security, policy as code, and secure CI/CD workflows.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in Security Engineering, DevSecOps, or DevOps.
• Proven expertise embedding security into CI/CD pipelines and automated workflows.
• Proficiency with security tooling such as Snyk, Trivy, or Aqua.
• Hands-on experience with Policy as Code using Open Policy Agent (OPA).
• Strong background in secrets management and securing containerized infrastructure.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Integrate automated security scanning and testing tools directly into CI/CD pipelines.
• Define and implement Policy as Code to maintain consistent security standards.
• Manage and secure sensitive data through robust secrets management across environments.
• Harden containerized workloads and orchestration platforms against cloud-native threats.
• Foster security awareness by collaborating with engineering teams on secure coding practices.
• Conduct continuous monitoring and auditing of infrastructure for compliance and threat detection.
