A growing fintech company in Colombia seeks an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to enhance their core payment platform. You'll be responsible for developing testing tools, improving test coverage, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality releases. The ideal candidate will have experience with various programming languages, automated testing frameworks, and a solid understanding of quality assurance principles. Formación

• Several years of developing applications and test patterns.
• Experience with multiple database types.
• Knowledge of testing types including Web UI, API, and performance.
• Understanding of Martin Fowler’s Test Pyramid and shift-left principles.

Responsabilidades

• Developing and supporting code for a homegrown test harness/framework.
• Collaborating with Quality, Development, and Product to evaluate gaps in test coverage.
• Developing automated test solutions for unit, system, integration tests.
• Analyzing test failures and reporting detailed bugs.
• Assisting with CI/CD pipelines and metrics.

Experience with multiple languages

Cypress

Scripting (Bash, PowerShell)
