Children International is seeking a Senior SDET/ Test Automation Engineer to design and implement scalable automated testing for modernized enterprise apps. You will collaborate with developers, QA, and the tech lead to raise quality and enable reliable releases during the modernization from .NET 6 to newer frameworks.

Requirements include 6+ years in SDET or QA, strong automation framework design, Playwright experience, and proficiency with .NET, React, and TypeScript.

Formación

• 6+ years of experience in SDET, test automation, or QA engineering.
• Strong experience designing and implementing automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with Playwright or similar modern test automation tools.
• Experience testing web applications built with .NET, React, and TypeScript technologies.
• Experience validating REST APIs, integrations, and backend services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Experience working with Git-based repositories, Jira, and Agile development teams.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, defect management, and quality assurance best practices.
• Ability to analyze technical requirements and translate them into scalable automated test coverage.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills within cross-functional engineering teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.
• Create automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests for modernized applications.
• Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Participate in manual testing to achieve full coverage of modernized applications.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and document software defects and quality issues.
• Validate application upgrades, dependency updates, and compatibility changes introduced during modernization.
• Execute test automation against web applications, APIs, and supporting services.
• Analyze test results, provide quality metrics, and communicate risks to project stakeholders.
• Promote test automation best practices and continuous quality improvement across teams.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, test results, defect tracking, and release readiness.
