ScotiaTech in Bogota, Colombia seeks a Business Solutions Associate to support the Global Risk Technology Team with data analytics, scripting, and automation efforts, ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards.

You will collaborate with software engineers and business stakeholders, develop and maintain scripts in bash, Python, and SQL on GCP, and help deliver insights and improved processes in a fast-paced, inclusive environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Interest in financial markets, risk management, and banking regulations is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Supports a customer-focused culture by collaborating with team members to meet clients and business needs.
• Assists in developing, automating, and maintaining scripts and tools using bash, Python, SQL, and GCP.
• Performs debugging, testing, and validation of scripts to ensure accuracy.
• Helps identify technical issues related to data processing, storage, and retrieval, escalating when appropriate.
• Provides day-to-day operational support by monitoring systems and performing basic troubleshooting.
• Contributes to data analysis, report generation, and insights for senior team members.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support project delivery and continuous improvement.
