ScotiaTech, a Scotiabank technology hub in Bogota, Colombia, is seeking a Data Engineer/Data Analyst to contribute to data ingestion, modeling, and Power BI delivery across regions. You will work in an agile environment, designing and implementing data pipelines and supporting BI dashboards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, 2+ years of experience, and strong English proficiency (B2+).

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering or relevant field.
• 2+ years work experience as a Data Engineer or Data Analyst.
• Experience with SSIS, SQL Server, SQL, and Power BI (cloud and on-premise).
• Experience working in Windows & Unix environment.
• Detail oriented, team player with an ability to work with minimal direction.
• Fluency in English (B2+)
• Beneficial, but not required: DataStage, GCP, Hadoop, Azure (Databricks or Data Factory)

Responsabilidades

• Hands-on design and development with SQL/CSV and files (Parquet, Avro), using data ingestion patterns and data modelling.
• Provide support for PowerBI reports and dashboards.
• Support design, documentation, coding, testing, debugging and troubleshooting data pipelines.
• Contribute to an agile team and collaborate with stakeholders.
