ISI Markets in Bogotá, Colombia, seeks a data-savvy economist to maintain and enhance our in-house economic databases for Latin America. You will work with time series data and coordinate with the customer success team and data issuing sources.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Economics or Finance and at least 1 year in macroeconomic research or databases, with strong English skills. The role offers hybrid work and an international environment.

Formación

• Bachelor or Master in Economics or Finance.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• At least 1 year of experience in macroeconomic research and/or databases; fresh graduates considered.

• Implement and adhere to in-house pre-set measures of quality assurance and quality control.

• Ensure high quality of our products.
• Participate in workflow and system project improvements.
• Other ad-hoc and projects as requested by manager.

The Role

We are looking for a professional with good background in economics and able to work on time series data maintenance.

This role is responsible for the maintenance of in-house economic database for Latin American countries.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the quality and coverage of in-house economic databases.
• Data mining and expansion on the coverage of our in-house economic database.
• Implement and adhere to in-house pre-set measures of quality assurance and quality control.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or Master’s Degree in Economics or Finance.
• Well-versed in English (both verbal and writing)
• At least 1 year of relevant working experience in macroeconomic research and/or database. Fresh Graduates can be also considered.
• With relevant network of contact with official data issuing sources will have an advantage
• 1 year experience in macroeconomic research and/or databases. New graduates will be considered.
