ISI is seeking a economics-focused professional to maintain and enhance our Latin American time-series databases. You will manage in-house economic data, perform data mining, and ensure QA/QC standards while collaborating with the customer success team and data sources.

Hybrid work (2 days in office, 3 days at home) in Bogotá, Colombia, and a strong professional network with official data issuers is a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor or Master in Economics or Finance.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written).
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in macroeconomic research or databases; fresh graduates considered.
• Network with official data issuing sources advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in workflow and system project improvements.
• Other ad-hoc and projects as requested by manager.

The Role:

We are looking for a professional with good background in economics and able to work on time series data maintenance.

This role is responsible for the maintenance of in-house economic database for Latin American countries.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance the quality and coverage of in-house economic databases.
• Data mining and expansion on the coverage of our in-house economic database.
• Implement and adhere to in-house pre-set measures of quality assurance and quality control.
• Understand and have strong responsibilities on own job scope and tasks or projects assigned.

• Ensure high quality of our products.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree or Master’s Degree in Economics or Finance.
• Well-versed in English (both verbal and writing)
• At least 1 year of relevant working experience in macroeconomic research and/or database. Fresh Graduates can be also considered.
• With relevant network of contact with official data issuing sources will have an advantage
• 1 year experience in macroeconomic research and/or databases. New graduates will be considered.
