Job summary

Global Technology Services in Medellín, Colombia seeks a Mid-Level Reporting Analyst to own recurring and ad hoc reporting, creating dashboards and analyses that support leadership decisions.

You will use advanced SQL and Power BI to build data models, validate results, and troubleshoot issues while communicating insights to nontechnical stakeholders. Opportunities exist to expand Python workflows and AI-enabled automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Economics, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years in reporting, BI, data analytics, or related field.
• Advanced SQL with complex joins, aggregations, CTEs across multiple sources.
• Independent SQL writing and troubleshooting; validate reporting results.
• Strong Power BI experience building interactive dashboards and data models.
• Proficient in DAX and Power Query for calculations and data transformation.
• Experience creating and interpreting KPIs and performance metrics.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Own recurring and ad hoc reporting for managers and executive leadership.
• Understand business questions, define reporting requirements and KPIs, and translate into dashboards.
• Use SQL to extract, join, and prepare data; build and maintain Power BI data models and dashboards.
• Validate results, investigate discrepancies, troubleshoot reporting issues and improve performance.
• Present findings clearly to managers, executives, and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Contribute to Python workflows and AI-driven automation when appropriate.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Latin America and the United States.
