Job summary

SupportYourApp is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our global team. You will troubleshoot issues escalated from Tier 1, work with backend databases, APIs, and logs, and implement small fixes while documenting findings for Engineering. Fluency in English (C1) and 2+ years in customer-facing tech support are required.

The role offers full remote work from the EU with an international team, compensation in USD, and a focus on customer satisfaction and KPI delivery.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer-facing experience in technical support.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and code-reading skills.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with production-relational databases.
• Familiarity with PHP and/or JavaScript/TypeScript to implement small fixes.
• Experience with AWS or another cloud provider, including logs and secrets.
• Excellent communication and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and troubleshoot issues escalated from T1 involving backend, databases, and cross-system integrations.
• Reproduce bugs across web admin consoles, mobile apps, and backend APIs.
• Analyze logs, error traces, and metrics to identify root causes.
• Query production databases (read-only) to validate data-related issues.
• Implement small, low-risk fixes, including configuration changes and data corrections.
• Escalate complex issues to Engineering with clear documentation and findings.
• Track incidents and outages through resolution using monitoring tools.
