Job summary

Propio Language Services seeks an experienced Remote Spanish Contract Interpreter to support its OnDemand service PropioONE. You will provide consecutive interpretation across medical, legal and social services contexts, adhering to confidentiality and interpreter ethics.

Applicants must submit an English resume, demonstrate ILR 3+ technical proficiency, complete Propio's Medical Terminology/Anatomy & Physiology assessment, pass a mock oral session, and clear a background check.

Qualifications

• Submission of updated Resume in English.
• English language proficiency with ILR level 3+.
• Successful completion of a Mock oral interpretation session.
• Completion of Propio's online Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology Assessment.
• Full Background Check and Security Screen.
• Commitment to confidentiality, ethics, and HIPAA compliance.
• Preferred: 1+ years of interpreting experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides consecutive, first-person interpretation.
• Follows interpreter protocols and procedures as required by Propio L.S. clients.
• Follows all Propio L.S. policies and procedures related to information confidentiality and interpreter ethics.
• Continuously improves vocabulary and specialized subject matter knowledge for various clients.
