Job summary

Coforge is seeking a Senior AI Agent Engineer to design, develop, and deploy enterprise AI agents in a remote work model. You will work with Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, and Python-based frameworks to build robust multi-agent systems for enterprise needs.

The role emphasizes grounding, retrieval, tool integration, and cost-aware deployment, with strong focus on observability, security, and collaboration with business users.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• 2+ years developing Generative AI, AI assistant, or agent-based applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with Generative AI.
• Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, and Copilot Studio.
• Strong Python development skills and REST API integration.
• Experience with Semantic Kernel, MCP, and agent orchestration.
• Knowledge of Prompt Engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Experience implementing guardrails, grounding, and context management.
• Knowledge of observability, monitoring, and production AI practices.
• Experience developing secure, testable enterprise apps.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE/AI or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise AI agents, copilots, and multi-agent systems.
• Develop prompts, tool definitions, routing, and orchestration workflows with grounding and citations.
• Integrate AI agents with enterprise tools and APIs, and validate solutions with business users.
• Create automated evaluations and optimize agent quality, latency, observability, and cost.
• Support production monitoring and troubleshooting of AI applications.
