Job summary

Syneos Health Colombia Ltda is seeking an Epidemiology Medical Writing + Research Manager, RWLP, to lead and deliver Real World Evidence studies across LATAM with remote flexibility. The role emphasizes medical writing, study protocol development, and cross-functional collaboration to produce high-quality RWE deliverables on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years related industry experience.
• Advanced degree (Master’s) in epidemiology, economics, public health or other health related fields or acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least two years’ experience writing protocols, study reports, and similar documents for RWE/RWLP work
• Ability to develop understanding of retrospective and prospective research methods, HEOR and related methodology.
• Strong personal communication and good teamwork skills
• Candidate must demonstrate regional Real World Research experience.
• Extensive experience with personal computers; knowledge of statistical software.
• Fluent in written English. Regional language fluency is preferred (Japanese, Chinese, Korean). Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to travel as necessary (approximately 10-15%).

Responsibilities

• Execute a variety of claims database analyses, prospective and retrospective multi-site observational studies, and patient reported outcomes studies, producing high quality RWE research.
• Support the design and execution of Real World Evidence (RWE) studies, including study protocols across methodologies.
• Prepare draft study reports and external publications with oversight.
• Contribute to the development of materials for congress presentations and manuscripts.
• Serve as primary sponsor contact for assigned projects and participate in business development activities.
