AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Software Quality Assurance professional in Pereira, Colombia to strengthen our automation and testing efforts. You will build regression scripts, perform manual testing, and execute various test types to ensure software reliability.

The role emphasizes collaboration with product and customer-facing teams, documentation of features, and participation in planning. A hybrid work model with on-call rotation is available to support project needs and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software QA experience.
• 3+ years automated testing experience.
• Experience with Gherkin for BDD.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Agentic quality engineering mindset.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined set of criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types to ensure proper behavior of software.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fails conditions of tests and correlate failures to bug identification.
• Identify and elevate any risk to quality of the product or the process.
• Collaborate with the product team to ensure quality throughout the SDLC and product release cycles.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback in the testing strategy.
• Participate in refinement and estimations of effort to promote accurate planning.
• Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repositories, run custom scripts, and facilitate automated quality practices.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
