AgileEngine is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to build regression automation scripts and manually validate software against defined criteria. You will execute smoke, regression, integration, and performance tests, record behavior, and link failures to bugs while helping safeguard release quality.

You will collaborate with product teams to maintain quality across the SDLC, incorporate user feedback into testing strategies, and participate in on-call rotations for timely issue resolution.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in a software quality assurance role.
• 3+ years of experience in automated testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Mindset focused on holistic quality.
• Experience with Gherkin for behavior-driven development.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined set of criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types to ensure proper behavior of software.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fails conditions of tests and correlate failures to bug identification.
• Identify and escape any risk to quality of the product or the process.
• Collaborate with the product team to ensure quality throughout the SDLC and product release cycles.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback in the testing strategy.
• Participate in refinement and estimations of effort to promote accurate planning.
• Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repositories, run custom scripts, and facilitate automated quality practices.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
