Bluelight, a leading software consultancy, is seeking an experienced backend-focused software engineer with 5+ years of professional experience. You will work on low-latency API services in AWS, build scalable RESTful APIs, and integrate with various services while ensuring secure multi-tenant environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years professional software development experience (backend-focused).
• Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience building low-latency API services in AWS.
• Experience building scalable RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SDK integrations to other services.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB and Row-Level Security.
• Experience building secure multi-tenant environments.
• Proficient in writing SQL and migrations (node-postgres, node-pg-migrate).
• Professional experience with React.
• Strong testing practices with integration tests against real databases.
• Experience with AI coding assistants in development.
• CI/CD application creation and maintenance.
• Solid full-stack understanding with occasional frontend work.
• Experience with large, complex systems.
• Ability to overlap US business hours.
• Bachelor's degree required.
