Bluelight is seeking a senior backend engineer to join our growing team in a fast-paced consultancy setting. You will design and implement scalable API services, primarily using Node.js and TypeScript, hosted on AWS, with PostgreSQL databases and robust testing practices.

You will contribute to low-latency systems, multi-tenant architectures, and secure data handling while collaborating with frontend teams and client projects across the US and LATAM.

Qualifications

• 5+ years professional software development experience (backend-focused).
• Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience building low-latency API services in AWS.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and SQL, including migrations.
• Ability to build secure, multi-tenant environments and perform testing.
• Overlap US business hours and Bachelor's degree required.
