The role offers a clear path from OPI to VRI, with emphasis on HIPAA compliance and certified English proficiency. A quiet HIPAA-compliant workspace is required.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year minimum of remote medical interpretation experience.
• English proficiency at C1 level with recognized certifications (EF SET 4-Skill, TOEFL, or CAE).
• Medical Interpretation Certification obtained within the last 12 months with ALTA Spanish fluency or LanguageStat passing scores.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate consecutive interpretation primarily in medical settings, enabling clear communication between providers and patients.
• Facilitate essential communication in social services and financial contexts.
• Operate as a 100% remote team member for LATAM, with pathway to advance from OPI to VRI.
