American HomeStays LLC is seeking a Medical Biller & Coder to provide essential services for outpatient mental health clients remotely from Colombia. The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of experience in U.S. medical billing and coding, particularly in outpatient mental health.

This role requires proficiency in CPT, ICD-10-CM coding, and strong English communication skills. The independent contractor position does not include a benefits package.

Formación

• Minimum 2–4 years of U.S. medical billing and coding experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience working in secure virtual workstation environments preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Review clinical documentation before billing.
• Assign accurate CPT and ICD-10-CM codes.
• Enter charges into the EHR or billing system.
• Submit claims timely and verify patient information.
• Support denial resolution activities and maintain organized records.
