Job summary

Outlier is inviting software engineers from Latin America to join a remote QA Coder program that improves AI model code generation and evaluation. You’ll review AI-generated code, rate responses, and craft clear prompts to challenge models, all on a freelance 1099 basis with flexible hours.

Qualifications include a CS degree, production-code experience, excellent English, and meticulous attention to detail. Remote work across eligible countries is supported, with pay up to $34/hr plus incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science completed from a selective institution.
• Software engineering experience contributing to a live production codebase.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in written and spoken English.
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code and flag errors, inconsistencies, or quality issues using structured guidelines.
• Rate and rank model responses across key dimensions—accuracy, instruction following, and presentation.
• Write computer science questions by developing clear, well-structured prompts to challenge AI models.
