BairesDev is seeking a Backend Engineer (Kotlin) to design and maintain scalable server-side applications within the JVM ecosystem. You will be a key technical contributor building robust microservices and distributed systems.

The role emphasizes Kotlin with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, data persistence via JPA and PostgreSQL, and event-driven architecture using Kafka. English proficiency is required, with 100% remote work and flexible hours.

Formación

• 4+ years of JVM backend development experience.
• Deep expertise with Kotlin for microservices and distributed systems.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot integration for Kotlin.
• Strong data persistence using Spring Data JPA and PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for asynchronous messaging.
• Excellent English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Kotlin and Spring Boot.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs for service communication and user experiences.
• Implement efficient data persistence layers with JPA and PostgreSQL.
• Orchestrate event-driven architectures and real-time data flows with Kafka and AWS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect scalable microservices.
• Write clean, maintainable code and implement unit tests for reliability.
