Forge a Helios Company in Colombia is seeking a motivated Junior E-commerce Developer to join our technology team. This entry‑level role offers hands‑on experience building and maintaining Shopify storefronts while you learn from experienced developers in a collaborative setting.

You will translate UI designs into responsive pages, assist with integrations and analytics, and help optimize performance across devices.

Formación

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Web Development, or a related field.
• Recent graduates with relevant academic projects, internships, or personal development experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in building, maintaining, and optimizing Shopify websites and e-commerce experiences.
• Support the implementation of responsive websites aligned with brand guidelines and project requirements.
• Help customize Shopify themes, templates, and CMS structures to meet client needs.
• Assist in building and testing new website features and functionality.
• Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into functional, responsive web pages.
• Collaborate with designers to ensure accurate implementation of visual designs and user experiences.
• Help improve website performance, page load speed, and cross‑browser/device compatibility.
• Assist in troubleshooting technical issues, fixing bugs, and supporting ongoing website maintenance.
• Create and update technical documentation to support the development team.
• Assist with third‑party integrations, including analytics, marketing automation tools, and APIs.
• Support website performance tracking and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Work closely with senior developers, designers, marketers, and project managers on client projects.
• Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project planning.
• Research emerging web technologies, Shopify features, AI tools, and development best practices.
• Complete assigned tasks under the guidance of a Technical Lead while continuously developing your technical skills.
