Meraki Vision in Medellín, Colombia, is seeking an EXPERIENCED web developer with WordPress (WooCommerce) and/or Shopify expertise to join our international eCommerce team.

You will own research, strategy, and implementation of eCommerce solutions, work with remote teams, and manage multiple projects with strong communication and quality controls.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering or similar.

International agency focusing creating innovative eCommerce & web solutions is looking for a new Developer to join our team in Colombia!

eCommerce is the fastest growing industry since the pandemic hit & we focus on helping clients get successful online brands. With us you will work in a fast-paced environment learning about many different industries. We are looking for an EXPERIENCED developer who has worked with Wordpress (woocommerce) and/or Shopify before.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of research, strategy, and implementation of eCommerce solutions
• Follow project schedule & estimations
• Build out a site following designs - experience working with wireframes & mockups
• Good communicator - able to explain technical issues or solutions
• Quality check own work in a detailed manner

What we look for

• Bachelor's degree insoftware engineering or similar
• Provenweb development experience (at least 2+ years)
• Ability towork on multiple projects at a time
• Calm, organized work manner
• Experience working with remote teams
• High level English (written & spoken)
• High level Spanish (written & spoken)
• Experience working with Asana, Trello, Jira, Clickup or Monday
• Experience working with code repositories
• Experience managing website or app projects

Bonus If

• You speak another European language
• You have also built apps or plugins
