Job summary

Outlier is building a remote program for LatAm's best software engineers to help train AI models on code generation. You will review AI-generated code, rate model responses, and craft high-quality computer science prompts.

This is a flexible, 1099 contract opportunity that pays up to USD 34 per hour and provides incentives based on project performance and location. We welcome applicants from across Latin America, including Colombia, Argentina, Mexico and more.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a selective institution.
• Experience contributing to a live production codebase in software engineering.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation and style.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code and flag errors, inconsistencies, or quality issues using structured guidelines.
• Rate and rank model responses across key dimensions to improve outputs.
• Write clear, well-structured computer science prompts to challenge AI models.
