Job summary

HireHawk Inc. is seeking an Immigration Paralegal to support a busy U.S. and Canadian immigration practice in a fully remote setting. You will own the preparation of employment- and family-based matters from information gathering through attorney-ready case assembly.

You will work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time, collaborating with an attorney in a lean practice. Accuracy and organization are essential to prepare files for filing.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2+ years of hands-on experience supporting U.S. immigration matters.
• DS-160/DS-260 experience and forms preparation.
• Strong written English and documentation from templates.
• Ability to work independently during Pacific Time hours.
• Familiarity with U.S. nonimmigrant visa categories (B1/B2, E-2, L-1, O-1, H-1B).
• Experience handling employment- and family-based immigration applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete employment-based and family-based immigration case files for attorney review and filing
• Complete and review DS-160 and DS-260 applications accurately using client-provided information and supporting documentation
• Build organized, review-ready case packages that minimize attorney rework and help cases move efficiently toward filing
• Generate immigration case documentation using Serenade immigration software
• Draft supporting letters and related case documents using established legal templates and standardized workflows
• Review supporting evidence for completeness, consistency, and alignment with application requirements
• Identify and resolve common DS-160 issues, including corrections, updates, and consular submission requirements
• Organize and maintain immigration records in OneDrive or comparable shared file systems so documentation is easy to locate and audit
• Track case preparation progress and maintain reliable workflows that support timely filings
• Flag missing information, inconsistencies, or potential documentation issues before cases reach final attorney review
