Job summary

Atomic HR is hiring a remote software engineer to join a live product team delivering four to five features per sprint. You will own end-to-end areas like the task engine or legacy migrations, writing server-side workflow rules and building React/TypeScript screens that sit atop an Azure SQL database.

You’ll work with AI coding tools to draft specs and migrations, while guiding them and reviewing every diff.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building full-stack web apps released to production.
• Experience learning and contributing to codebases you didn’t write.
• Hands-on work with workflow software including role-based data access and audit logs.

Responsibilities

• Extend Azure SQL with new tables, permissions and versioned records.
• Implement server-side workflow rules, state machines and approval gates.
• Enforce role-based access at database and API levels.
• Create idempotent endpoints, audit log and stale-write protection.
• Build React/TypeScript UI for work queues, bulk actions and dashboards.
• Integrate email, SMS and file storage providers and design sync APIs for mobile.
• Write migrations from legacy sources with reconciliation reports.
• Break sprint scope into small PRs and verify acceptance criteria.
