Qualifications

3+ years of professional software development experience, backend focus.
Strong proficiency with Elixir and the Phoenix framework.
Experience with OTP, concurrent and distributed systems.
Experience designing RESTful APIs and working with PostgreSQL (Ecto).
Good product sense, reliability, and collaboration in an agile team.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain backend systems and APIs using Elixir/Phoenix.
Collaborate with PMs, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into scalable services.
Own features from conception to launch with technical specs and release processes.
Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality.
Identify bottlenecks, fix bugs, and improve performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.
Keep up-to-date with Elixir ecosystem trends and best practices.
