Job summary

Bluelight is seeking a seasoned DevOps/SRE/DevSecOps engineer to join our rapidly growing team. You will contribute to challenging projects and develop high-quality applications that stand out.

The role requires 5+ years of professional DevOps experience, strong AWS skills (ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, IAM, CloudWatch), IaC (Terraform or CloudFormation), Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and a security-first mindset. You’ll overlap US business hours and support audits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles.
• Strong hands-on AWS (ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, S3).
• Production Aurora/PostgreSQL with multi-AZ, read replicas, lag monitoring.
• IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Docker-based containerization with ECS/Fargate.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Deployment automation with rollback drills.
• Observability tooling such as OpenTelemetry or CloudWatch.
• Load testing with k6 or similar; latency/SLO focus.
• Security-first: vulnerability scanning, secrets, hardening; audits.
• Support SOC 2 or similar audits and client reviews.
• Incident response, on-call, and root-cause analysis.
• Experience with large, complex systems.
• Ability to overlap US business hours.
• Bachelor's degree required.
