Koombea is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and improve cloud infrastructure with a security-focused, reliability-minded approach. You will work across teams to automate environments and accelerate delivery using AI-assisted tooling.

We value strong Linux administration, scripting, and experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms. Excellent English communication is essential for our remote LATAM team.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience managing Linux-based servers (Debian/Ubuntu/CentOS).
• 3-4 years of infrastructure automation scripting (Shell, Python, or JS).
• 2-3 years of cloud provider experience (AWS or similar).
• Experience using AI tools in DevOps workflows (IaC, log analysis, scripting).
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with AI-aware judgment.
• Excellent written and spoken English; able to communicate in a distributed team.

Responsabilidades

• Implement, configure, and automate cloud infrastructure for multiple projects with AI-assisted IaC.
• Collaborate with multiple development teams for planning, building, and releasing environments.
• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines, using AI to speed troubleshooting and iterations.
• Boost performance and reliability of production environments.
• Diagnose outages with AI-assisted log analysis and root-cause investigation.
• Review and harden infrastructure code and AI-generated scripts.
• Keep up-to-date with AI tooling best practices and suggest improvements for the DevOps team.
