Koombea is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and continuously improve cloud infrastructure with AI as a core part of the workflow. You will bring strong systems knowledge, automation instincts, and a security- and reliability-first mindset to keep production fast, stable, and observable.

Responsibilities include implementing cloud infra for multiple projects, coordinating with multiple teams, and refining CI/CD pipelines with AI-enabled tooling.

Formación

• +4 years Linux-based server administration and support (L2/L3) (Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.)
• 3-4 years programming for infrastructure automation: Bash, Python, or JS.
• 2-3 years with a cloud provider: AWS or similar
• Daily experience using AI tools in DevOps work
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Automation mindset with ability to learn AI tooling
• Experience with IP networking: DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, SMTP, etc.
• Experience with Terraform and infrastructure provisioning
• Hands-on AWS: EC2, EBS, RDS, S3, VPC, CloudWatch
• Deploy and maintain Ruby on Rails apps in production; Laravel a plus
• CI/CD experience; CircleCI a plus
• Container tech: Docker and AWS ECS
• Data sources: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, ElasticSearch
• Git for version control
• Open to learning new topics and AI tooling evolution
• Good written and spoken English

Responsabilidades

• Implement, configure, manage, and automate cloud infrastructure for multiple projects with AI-assisted IaC.
• Collaborate with multiple dev teams for planning, building, and releasing environments.
• Define and optimize CI/CD pipelines using AI to speed troubleshooting and iterations.
• Boost performance and reliability of production environments.
• Diagnose outages using AI-assisted log analysis and root-cause investigation.
• Review, harden, and maintain infrastructure code and automation scripts.
• Stay updated on industry and AI-tooling best practices and suggest improvements.
