Truelogic is seeking a meticulous Data QA Engineer to safeguard data integrity across complex ETL pipelines and data ecosystems. In this role, you will tackle validating ETL workflows, ensuring migrations are accurate and transformed data reflects business logic before analytics layers.

The ideal candidate will combine database expertise with hands-on test automation, SQL proficiency, and BI reporting experience using Tableau or Power BI. This is a remote role supporting U.S.

Formación

• Advanced ability to write and execute complex SQL queries for data verification and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience validating ETL/ELT data pipelines and data warehousing environments.
• Hands-on testing of database objects and data normalization.
• Experience documenting full lifecycles of test plans and defects in JIRA or TestRail.
• Hands-on experience with test automation using Python and Selenium with SQL assertions.
• Familiarity with non-functional testing using tools like Apache JMeter is a plus.
• Experience testing BI reports in Tableau or Power BI.

Responsabilidades

• Validate data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across ETL pipelines and data stores.
• Test core database objects: stored procedures, triggers, views, and functions.
• Write and validate complex SQL queries to verify data correctness and integrity.
• Test data pipelines and transformations within BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) for accurate reports.
• Build and maintain automated test scripts for database regression and integration testing.
• Collaborate with DBAs, developers, data analysts, and product teams to track defects in JIRA/TestRail.
