Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Data Platform Architect to design and implement Azure-based data architectures and Snowflake environments. You will lead secure, scalable data pipelines and partner with investment professionals as the client-facing technical authority.

You must be proficient in Python and SQL, with deep Azure and Snowflake experience. This remote role offers global collaboration and competitive compensation in USD or local currency.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture.
• Strong expertise in Azure data architecture.
• Hands-on with Azure managed data services (Fabric, Data Factory, Functions, ADLS Gen2).
• Snowflake greenfield setup (accounts, warehouses, RBAC, masking).
• Access design using Entra ID or Microsoft Graph.
• Event-driven ingestion including change-triggered extraction, queues, webhooks.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Azure data architecture from the ground up.
• Set up Snowflake environments and manage security controls.
• Design access architecture using Entra ID and managed identity.
• Build event-driven ingestion pipelines and data workflows.
• Own security posture in regulated environments and client-facing tech authority.
