EXP Group is seeking an experienced Controller to lead accounting and financial reporting for our multi-state U.S. business.

Based in Argentina or South America with a reliable remote setup, you will report to the CFO and own the close, consolidations, and reconciliations. You’ll manage cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, strengthen internal controls, and coordinate with external accountants.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting with US GAAP experience.
• Experience with monthly close, consolidations, and management reporting.
• Experience reporting for U.S. entities; multi-entity experience.
• Strong English writing for leadership reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and management reports across entities and locations (NJ, NY, TX).
• Manage AP/AR, general ledger, and account reconciliations.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting and working capital reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis with CFO.
• Strengthen internal controls and audit readiness.
• Coordinate with HR/payroll on labor cost reporting.
• Collaborate with external accountants, auditors, and banking partners.

Role Summary

We're seeking an experienced Controller based in Argentina or South America to lead accounting and financial reporting for our multi-state, multi-entity U.S. business. Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll own the close process, consolidated reporting, and reconciliations. This role requires strong, demonstrated financial reporting experience — you'll be producing the numbers our leadership runs the business on.

What You'll Do

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and management reports across entities and locations (NJ, NY, TX)
• Manage AP/AR, general ledger, and account reconciliations to a clean, audit-ready standard
• Oversee cash flow forecasting and working capital reporting
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis with the CFO
• Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and audit readiness
• Partner with HR/payroll on labor cost reporting and compliance
• Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and banking partners

What We're Looking For

• Based in Argentina or South America with reliable remote work setup
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA / Contador Público or equivalent strongly preferred
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with a proven track record in financial reporting — monthly close, consolidations, and management reporting
• Experience reporting for U.S. companies and familiarity with US GAAP strongly preferred
• Multi-entity accounting experience; distribution, food/produce, or logistics industry a plus
• Strong systems skills (ERP — confirm); Rippling and SAP Concur exposure a plus
• Fully bilingual English/Spanish, with strong written English for leadership reporting
• Self-directed and effective working remotely with a lean U.S.-based team
