Bennett Law Center is seeking an experienced bilingual Immigration Paralegal based in Colombia to provide remote support to our U.S.-based law firm as an independent contractor. We are looking for someone with strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to deliver accurate, timely paralegal work.

• Prior substantive U.S. immigration law experience in at least one listed practice area.
• Available for remote work from Colombia as an independent contractor.
• Bilingual English/Spanish, written and verbal.
• Experience with electronic case management systems.

Responsabilidades

• Provide paralegal support to attorneys on immigration matters.
• Prepare applications, petitions, forms, and supporting documentation.
• Draft correspondence, declarations, and case documents.
• Gather, review, and organize client documentation and evidence.
• Track deadlines, filings, hearings, interviews, and other case-related dates.
• Maintain accurate electronic case files and detailed case notes.
• Communicate with clients to obtain information and documentation and provide case-related updates as directed.
• Coordinate with attorneys and other members of the legal team.
• Conduct case-related research.
• Identify missing information, documentation, and upcoming deadlines requiring attention.
• Complete assigned work accurately and within established deadlines.
