Job summary

BairesDev is seeking an Autonomy Engineer to join our global remote team. You will develop decision-making algorithms and on-vehicle autonomy logic for robust motion planning and safe operation across dynamic environments.

You should have 5+ years in software engineering or robotics, strong C++ skills, and a solid grounding in real-time systems and planning under uncertainty. We offer flexible hours, 100% remote work, and competitive USD compensation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering or Robotics.
• Proven expertise in developing on-vehicle autonomy logic and decision-making algorithms.
• Advanced proficiency in C++ and fundamental robotics principles.
• Hands-on experience with planning under uncertainty and autonomous vehicle safety patterns.
• Strong understanding of autonomous vehicle behaviors and real-time systems.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine decision-making algorithms for autonomous vehicle navigation and behavior.
• Design on-vehicle autonomy logic to handle complex motion planning and execution.
• Implement planning under uncertainty models to improve system robustness in dynamic environments.
• Apply autonomous vehicle safety patterns to ensure rigorous adherence to operational standards.
• Collaborate on the integration of fundamental robotics principles into scalable software solutions.
