BairesDev is hiring a Software Engineer specializing in Apache Zookeeper to design, deploy, and scale distributed coordination services for high availability and low-latency consensus. You will manage leader election, configuration, and distributed locking across large-scale architectures.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or Distributed Systems.
• Proven expertise in operating or contributing to Apache Zookeeper for distributed coordination.
• Deep understanding of consensus algorithms, leader election, and distributed locking mechanisms.
• Hands-on experience managing and scaling Zookeeper clusters in production environments.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Design, deploy, and manage production-grade Apache Zookeeper ensembles to support distributed applications.
• Implement and optimize distributed coordination primitives, including leader election and distributed locking.
• Maintain and scale configuration management systems to ensure consistent state across the infrastructure.
• Monitor and tune Zookeeper performance to handle high-throughput requests and maintain low-latency consensus.
• Troubleshoot complex issues related to distributed consistency, network partitions, and quorum health.
