Backblaze is seeking a Software Engineer, AI to help design and build server-side APIs for backup services used by customers worldwide. You’ll work with Python, TypeScript, Go, and Java, applying AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining security and performance.

Formación

• Must have backend software engineering experience designed for high-scale systems.
• Proficient in one or more backend languages (Java, Python, TypeScript) and comfortable with new languages.
• Understanding of AI workflows: data ingestion, preprocessing, inference, and orchestration.
• Experience building or using large-scale APIs and distributed storage/data systems.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build server-side APIs that authenticate users and manage backups at scale.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and Support to reflect customer workflows in backend features.
• Build and maintain tooling to diagnose and resolve customer issues.
• Ensure code and assets meet testing, documentation, and reproducibility standards.
