UN Secretariat, Bogotá, Colombia, seeks a Procurement Officer to plan, develop and manage complex procurement processes for works, goods and services to support regional operations. You will advise stakeholders, manage tenders, and ensure adherence to contracts while coordinating procurement workplans and supplier negotiations.

Requirements include an advanced degree (Master's or equivalent) and a minimum of five years in complex procurement, with ERP experience and strong data analysis,

Formación

• Master's or equivalent in a relevant field; professional procurement credentials preferred.
• Experience with international procurement standards and ERP systems.
• CIPS Level 4 or equivalent is required/advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Manage procurement and contractual aspects for complex projects across works, goods and services.
• Advise units on procurement processes and oversee tender invitations and evaluations.
• Approve bidding processes and purchase orders within delegated authority.
• Develop strategies and innovative solutions for complex procurement challenges.
• Coordinate procurement workplans and liaise with program teams for efficiency.
• Conduct market research to identify new technologies, products and suppliers.
• Monitor contract adherence and support audits; contribute to regional improvements.
