Michael Page Colombia is seeking talented RTR professionals to join a multinational IT firm in Bogota. Roles vary Junior, Mid, and Senior, focusing on record-to-report processes, journal entries, reconciliations, month-end closes, and financial reporting under USGAAP/IFRS.

On-site for 2 months, then hybrid work arrangement to support global finance operations. Candidates should have English at least B2, familiarity with Oracle or SAP, and strong Excel skills.

Formación

As part of the Record-to-Report (RTR) team, professionals will support and manage core accounting activities including journal entry preparation and review, account and bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, month-end and year-end close processes, financial reporting, audit support, and compliance with USGAAP/IFRS standards. Team members will also participate in transaction processing, financial data analysis, controls execution, policy and procedure compliance, stakeholder support, issue resolution, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Depending on the role level

responsibilities may range from executing transactional and reconciliation activities, to owning end-to-end accounting processes, preparing financial statements, managing complex accounting operations, mentoring junior team members, driving process improvements, and ensuring overall financial reporting accuracy and regulatory compliance. As seniority increases, so does the level of accountability, decision-making authority, cross-functional collaboration, and leadership expectations.

Perfil buscado (h/m)

Junior

• English proficiency (written and verbal), B2+ level or higher.
• Flexibility to adjust working schedule based on business/account requirements.
• High School Diploma.
• Technical High School Degree in Accounting or 1 years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience with Oracle, SAP, or other Tier-1 ERP systems.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Mid

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• 3+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other accounting standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities and challenges.

Senior

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong expertise in IFRS, GAAP, and other accounting principles and standards.
• Proven experience managing accounting operations and processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
