Inchcape Colombia is seeking an accounting professional to execute processes for the generation of Financial Statements in line with global policies and standards. You will coordinate with information providers and analysts to ensure quality and timeliness of FFS.

The role requires recording journal entries, performing reconciliations, and preparing reports for markets with adherence to GAAP/IFRS and SAP R3/Hana usage.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and IFRS accounting principles.
• Minimum 2 years of general accounting experience; 1+ year in accounting processes.

Mansioni

• Record journal entries and maintain GL adjustments in line with SLAs.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items promptly.
• Analyze balance sheet accounts and investigate suspicious transactions.

Execute the accounting processes for the generation of the Financial Statements (FFS) in compliance with the globally established policies and standard procedures, coordination with information providers to achieve the agreed quality and times; as well as the analysis of the FFS to assess their reasonableness in collaboration with In-Market financial leaderships.

JOBROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Record journal entries and maintain necessary GL adjustments for the assigned markets in line with the established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve the reconciling items promptly
• Perform analysis of balance sheet accounts ensuring accounts are accurate, any suspicious transaction must be investigated and raised accordingly
• Execute period end accounting activities following procedures and guidelines, ensuring adherence to company policies and compliance with financial regulations, guarantee period is closed according the timetable
• Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports as per agreed timeline to allow markets review and analysis
• Preparation of financial statements and reports based on policy, procedures or audit requirements providing quality a accurate information to the markets/customers

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Solid understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and general accounting principles
• +2 years of general experience.
• +1 years of experience in accounting processes.
• SAP Knowledge required R3/Hana
