CBTW is seeking a Frontend Tech Lead to drive design, architecture, and delivery of scalable web applications with hands-on development and technical strategy. You will mentor engineers, set frontend standards, and collaborate with product and architecture teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

The role requires 8+ years of software development, 7+ years in React, strong English, and a hybrid work model in Bogotá. Experience with microfrontends, AWS, and SDK integration is highly valued.

Formación

• Advanced English level required.

About the role:

As a Frontend Tech Lead, you will drive the design, architecture, and delivery of scalable, high-performance web applications for mission-critical systems. You will provide technical leadership to frontend teams, define best practices, mentor engineers, and collaborate closely with product, architecture, and engineering stakeholders to ensure high-quality solutions. This role combines hands-on development with technical strategy, ownership, and team enablement.

What We’re Looking For:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced English level (required).
• Hybrid modality in Bogotá (required)
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with React.js and modern frontend architectures.
• Proven experience leading frontend teams, technical initiatives, and architectural decisions.
• Strong experience designing and implementing microfrontend architectures at enterprise scale.
• Deep understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend frameworks and tooling.
• Experience defining frontend standards, code quality practices, and development workflows.
• Solid knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases and their integration patterns.
• Strong expertise with GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Advanced Security, and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience building cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Proven experience creating, maintaining, or deeply integrating Software Development Kits (SDKs), particularly within React-based ecosystems.
• Experience driving engineering best practices, code reviews, technical mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong understanding of application performance, scalability, security, and observability principles.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in fintech, banking, or highly regulated industries.
• Experience with platform engineering and developer experience initiatives.
• Knowledge of modern frontend testing strategies and automation frameworks.
• Experience leading distributed or international engineering teams.
