INSPYR Global Solutions is seeking a Quality / Test Automation Engineer for a 12+ month remote LATAM contract. You will design and maintain automated test coverage across UI, API, and integration layers, and build quality checks into CI/CD pipelines.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of test automation experience and hands-on Playwright/Jest skills, plus Java/TypeScript coding and BDD with Cucumber/Gherkin.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in test automation or quality engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and Jest.
• Ability to write test code in Java and/or TypeScript.
• Experience with BDD frameworks and practices (e.g., Cucumber, Gherkin).
• Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience building quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsabilités

About the Role

We're looking for a Quality / Test Automation Engineer to design and maintain automated test coverage across our applications. You'll own testing at the UI, API, and integration layers, build quality checks into our CI/CD pipelines, and work closely with development teams to catch issues early and ship reliable software.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for UI, API, and integration testing
• Develop test frameworks and scripts using Playwright, Jest, and Java and/or TypeScript
• Write and maintain BDD-style test scenarios with development and product teams
• Validate data across SQL and NoSQL databases as part of end-to-end testing
• Set up and maintain automated quality gates in CI/CD pipelines
• Find, document, and track defects, and work with developers to fix them
