The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer in Colombia to drive product and process quality improvements and lead cross-functional teams in solving complex manufacturing challenges.

You will apply structured problem-solving, statistical analysis, and quality core tools to reduce risk and improve manufacturing outcomes, partnering across functions to deliver high-quality results.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, sciences, technology, mathematics, or related technical discipline; for Latin America, an Engineering degree is required.
• 3.5+ years of experience in quality, manufacturing, process engineering, or related industrial environment.
• English proficiency is required.
• Experience applying structured problem-solving techniques and driving process improvements.
• Knowledge of quality systems and core tools (FMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC, Control Plans) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead quality and process improvement initiatives using quality engineering principles and structured problem solving.
• Analyze manufacturing performance indicators, identify trends and implement corrective actions to improve quality and efficiency.
• Coach teams in continuous improvement practices, Plant Optimization methods, and quality standards.
• Manage quality-related projects with planning, risk management, execution, and communication to meet objectives.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet customer requirements and resolve technical challenges.
• Lead initiatives related to new product introduction, process optimization, waste reduction, and regulatory compliance.

The Senior Quality Engineer plays a critical role in supporting manufacturing process excellence and product quality by applying Goodyear standards, solving complex production challenges, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This position serves as a technical expert, partnering across functions to enhance process capability, customer satisfaction, and operational performance. The role leads quality improvements, manages projects, and leverages analytical and problem-solving methodologies to reduce risk and improve manufacturing outcomes. Success in this position requires strong engineering expertise, collaboration skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality results.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet customer requirements, resolve technical challenges, and improve manufacturing processes.
• Lead and support initiatives related to new product introduction, process optimization, waste reduction, quality compliance, and operational excellence.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Science, Technology, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline. For Latin America, an Engineering degree is required.
• 3.5+ years of experience in quality, manufacturing, process engineering, or a related industrial environment.
• English level is a requirement
• Demonstrated experience applying structured problem-solving techniques, troubleshooting equipment or process issues, and driving process improvements.
• Knowledge of quality systems, project management methodologies, statistical analysis tools, and quality core tools such as FMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC, and Control Plans is preferred.
