Softgic is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our team in Colombia. You will design and maintain automation frameworks, develop automated tests for web, mobile, and APIs, and ensure software quality through continuous testing and CI/CD integration with cross-functional Agile teams.

You will collaborate with developers and product managers, analyze results, and mentor junior testers while expanding test coverage and adoption of best practices across the QA function.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, or JUnit.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SQL, and test data management.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git version control.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Advanced English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable test automation frameworks.
• Create and execute automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues, and support their resolution.
• Continuously improve test coverage, reliability, and automation best practices while mentoring junior team members.
